In this session, Teachers discover how to guide early childhood students in crafting exemplary feelings journals, empowering them to read independently. Additionally, Teachers learn to scaffold poetry writing in a supportive way, fostering student confidence in their creative abilities and encouraging them to share their poetic creations with the class. These literacy activities are designed to instill social-emotional learning and expression at their core. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your teaching skills, empower your students, and connect with a community of passionate educators. Dinner is provided, and participants will receive a $50 stipend for attendance. This workshop is most appropriate for out-of-school-time educators.
